From quote to invoice in one click
The quote-to-invoice moment is where retyping errors creep in, a missed line, a wrong price, VAT recalculated by hand. Vizivo removes the retyping entirely.
1. Quote the job
Open the Quote Generator. Your business details are prefilled from your profile; add the client, line items and VAT rate. Set a valid-until date (it can't be before the issue date, the form won't let you) and your terms, like "50% deposit to confirm." The output includes an acceptance line inviting the client to confirm in writing.
Export it as a branded PDF and send it.
2. Client says yes
On the quote's output panel there's a button: Create invoice from this quote. Click it.
3. The invoice writes itself
The Quote to Invoice tool opens with your quote's full content already loaded. Add the invoice number and dates, and crucially anything that changed since the quote in the amendments box ("two extra days on site at £280/day", "removed the training line"). Generate.
The invoice carries over the parties, items and prices exactly, applies only the amendments you listed, and recalculates every total precisely: line totals, net, VAT, gross. Your quote number never gets reused as the invoice number.
Works with quotes made elsewhere too
The Quote to Invoice tool accepts any pasted quote text, not just Vizivo quotes. Handy for the transition period while your old quotes are still in play.
One honest note: Vizivo produces the invoice document, professional, VAT-correct, branded. It isn't accounting software, and doesn't pretend to be: when you're sending dozens of invoices a month and need payment tracking, that's the moment for a bookkeeping tool. Until then, this is the fastest path from "yes" to "paid".
